Through this service we’ll work together to strategize creative campaigns to implement for advertisement of events, products, businesses, and more.

Historical Advising

Need a researcher or historian for a project? This service will ensure historical accuracy for your project and advise on how to use history as a guide for your present day work.

Taylor’s credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Master of Science degree in Urban Studies authoring research at the intersection of public health, sociology, geography and history such as “Milwaukee Black Health” and “Black Autonomy as a Form of Resistance and a Symbol of Rebellion.”

• Black towns, settlements, and geographies with an emphasis on the Black Midwest between 1920-1970 (Milwaukee Bronzeville, Robbins, IL)

Film Screening Presentation

We have films in our catalog on topics such as environmental justice, public health, residential segregation, Black Milwaukee, and LGBTQ+ experiences that are poetic and connect audiences to our shared humanity.

We would be happy to bring our films to your organizations, businesses, etc and facilitate a post screening discussion or activity along with resources and action items that build understanding around the film’s topics.

Films available:

• Something in the Water, a short documentary film about the impact of lead poisoning on Black Milwaukeeans

• The Good Land Series, a documentary series following Black Milwaukee leaders who are combatting the impacts of residential segregation in innovative ways

• House of History Documentary Series, over 20 short documentary films about the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ Milwaukeeans and Black LGBTQ+ Milwaukee History

Story Curation

Are you trying to piece together the story, but not quite sure how to do it? The story curation service will shape compelling and captivating stories that will draw your audience in.

Through this service we will strategize and organize how to present stories in meaningful and engaging ways for your audience to connect with you. We’ll also strategize the best medium to share your story whether that’s video, audio, or written.

Examples of services include, but not limited to:

• Directing/provide creative direction for films and projects to shape story and develop a vision

• Film and edit informational and/or promo videos for individuals and organizations

• Edit videos and podcasts and/or consult during the editing process

Wellness Facilitation

This service includes guidance and support for individuals and groups to adopt healthy lifestyle practices through movement, art making, community conversations, writing, and more.

After receiving this service, you will leave feeling better than how you arrived. Participants will release stress and process emotions to improve overall mood, wellness, and healing.
